| In my never ending pursuit to tighten up the drivetrain, today I am focused on insuring the motor mounts are OK. Is there a standard test or diagnostic to confirm they are functioning properly? So far, I have done the following: Visually they appear OK... no torn rubber; no leaking silicon fluid. Attachment bolts are tight. There is no discernible engine block movement/vibration at idle or under load at speed. At rest with the brakes locked; when I load the engine with torque there are no clunks or unusual noises (as if the torque were 'lifting' the motor) I have a bottle jack under the front of the trans. When I jack it up an inch or two, the motor rises. This is the flex in the fluid-filled mounts? Correct? gordo
