I was completely floored when Damon told me (during Trinity's remission party no less!) If you can't wait to see a grown man cry then you'll want to show up at the banquet. Even though I know it's coming, I know I'll still break down. The support we have received through tt.NET over the past couple of years has been fantastic, and just knowing that you thought of us for ZCon is so incredibly comforting. I haven't done an official writeup here, but for those who have followed our story, Trinity is officially in remission as of the end of July. Quite a journey for 2.5 years (incidentally the same time period that my Z sat idle). She started kindergarten last week, so the end of treatment was just in time. We had a remission party for her a few weeks ago. Guapo, excellent photographer that he is, snapped a lot of great pics that he can post if he so chooses. We have been very fortunate with her recovery but the fact that many others are not is why I continue to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The advances are coming faster and faster. I am convinced that we will see cure rates continue to go up dramatically in our lifetimes, provided we keep focus on it. Thanks to all of you for your support in the past, and if you choose to donate through ZCon, you have my sincere thanks as well.
