Message	the full throttle shifting the car feels like an automagic. It's unbelievable fun, it may take a while to master for it's a very unorthodox method. Your instinct will make you want to lift the throttle when you shift. I think you where ridding the clutch that's why it was missing. Make sure you don't rest your foot on the pedal at all. Admonishment: make sure you adjust your clutch as far as possible out, that will save your tranny, and make it a lot easier to shift. Don't force the issue,if you can't get it in gear, you will break gears and forks if you do.
