I had a bit of bad luck happen to me this past week. last saturday i woke up with a strange right hand lower abdominal pain.. decided to tough thru it as i thought it was a tore muscle since i have been working out a lot lately and rather hard. Sunday the pain had worsened and sunday night barely slept, by Monday morning i was barely moving and went to emergency. Turned out i had an inflamed appendix and it was in such bad shape they moved for immediate surgery and Monday night. Just got released Friday, after a long week in a hospital room. After it was removed it was examined and sent for a pathology report, Turns out the damn thing was in such bad shape the doctors told me I might have died if i didnt come in when i did :(. And judging my weight and a few other factors they had to abandon the simple way of operating (Laproscopically) and go into full blown surgery which only lengthens my recovery time. I cant ride in a car for 2-3 weeks and no work heavy lifting for 7-10wks after stiches are removed. So im gonna be hanging at the house bored out of my mind!! Im doing fine just very wore out but am definitely happy to be home.
SO.. lol maybe some of you can think up a few simple projects i might be able to tackle during my recovery? thanks, Matt Grosse
