In the middle of the track session, Mr.K shows up riding on this hooked up golf car (wheels and stickers baby!). So they shut down the track because he wants to take a ride around the track. So they help him into this guy Henry's race-prepped 240Z and off they go. You should've seen everyone crowd around him to get pics when he was in the car giving the thumbs up (forgot my camera there, doh!). I have never seen someone so venerated before.
Anyway, after one lap at street speeds, the car pulls in, and Mr.K is in the car with a huge smile on his face and he motions for a helmet! Someone gave him one and they go out at speed and everyone starts cheering. Really cool.
"Slow in, fast out!"
Any idiot can drive fast; what makes a driver good is the ability to screw up and still save it...
