You'll find urethane in tennis shoes, some running shoes, outdoor basketball shoes, cross trainers, or any shoe that needs a thick, dense midsole to provide stability and durability. It's a heavier material than phylon or EVC (ethylene vinyl acetate), which are used in shoes that need to be lighter and more flexible. There's some useless shoe info for you LOL.
