Message First and foremost, let me say that Charles@Powertrix is an ABSOLUTE pleasure to deal with. He will answer any and all questions honestly and provides EXCELLENT customer service. I am a returning customer, and purchased a set of fog light ducts from him as well.

So last December, I purchased a set of Powertrix "Kaminari Style" replica side skirts.

I was told they would need some very minor fitting to make the sideskirts fit well, and the door fillers would need some work to line up properly.

I have been told that Charles has been working on a 2nd version of these to address the problem below.

Let me say that the door fillers need ALOT of work. I have spent 6-8 hours fitting one door filler on one side. The portion on the side skirt that rests in the body line needs approx. 1/4" of material removed, and on the bottom, roughly 3/8" to 7/16 of an inch of material removed.

You must begin removing material from 2/3 the way to the front of the door filler all the way to the rear in order to maintain a straight line and allow the door filler to mount to the door in a flush OEM manner.

This involves filling the gap between the face of the sideskirt and the piece that touches the the body with fiberglass, because when you remove the material, it needs to be replaced with new fiberglass in order to maintain contact with the door.

Also, the sideskirts needed a little bit of fiberglass to fully contact the corner on the front fender. This is easy for anyone with any bit of fiberglass experience.

Here's a few pictures to show you what's involved, and how much "shaving" is needed to fit the door fillers properly.

Please note that the unmodified Powertrix door filler is on the right, and the modified one is on the left.

My finger is pointing to the amount of material needed to flush the sideskirt with the fender (about 1/16" to 1/8" of addt. material)
