sway bars. If there is, it affects ride height across the car by lifting one tire up and pushing the other tire down. It could be where that 1/4" difference came from. I'm pretty sure some people have tried to offset this ride height difference by adjusting their coilovers instead of their sway bars. They get the car level but the coilovers fight the sway bar. The adjustable sway bar end links take out this preload.
