The problem with selling American cars in Germany is the TUV. Its like the German's version of DOT. The car has to be approved, and added into the system. My friend sold his Chrysler 300C to a German national and the bill to the Zollamt (German Customs/Registration) was about 6k Euros to get the car into the system. He actually ended up buying the car back because the guy that bought it didn't do his homework and couldn't afford that. And also with the TUV, all modificatoins have to be approved prior to putting them on. You have to pay to get a mod added to your TUV form. Its a royal pain in the butt and not worth it in the end.
