Once you find the source of the problem, I would recommend doing a rebuild or buying a buit motor from a trusted source such as Import Parts Pro. I'm sure Kyle could work out a reasonable price on a stock Nissan VG30DE rebuild/refresh. I assume you wouldn't need anything too crazy. That said, sometimes you can find low mileage VG30DE motors here on twinturbo.net from trustworthy sources at a very good price. A lot of people get the swap bug and do a TT swap on their NA Z32s.
