Message Convention was a great time. Unfortunately the weather turned foul this morning so Rohan and I (the last 2 TTnet guys) left without participating in the drags or the awards ceremony. (Paul, if you see this, post the winners when you find out!)

Met a whole bunch of people, including numerous TTnet guys: John (NA thinks its a TT), Steve (honzrr), Mike (2KWQ4U), Pete (TwinTurboPete), Rohan (ZRO), Claude (OppamanZ), Trevor, Paul@Avalon, and scores of other cool people.

Heading up with some of the Toronto guys:

I'd never seen a yellow Z in person before, I saw about 8 at the convention =)

Here's a few pics from the show:
Inside the center (70 cars inside, about 40 more outside on the grass)

My car along with TTpete's (bad idea to show my car next to his, mine pales in comparison =)

My car being torn apa...err, judged...

One of many sweet 240s in the show, looks like its got the bondurant paintjob. After seeing so many fine 240s, I've decided I must have one...

John getting his ABS actuator panel signed. A bunch of us did this, as well as getting sun visors, ashtrays, and other good stuff signed.

Some random, nice looking Z32 at the show:

The track day at Shannonville was awesome. It was a cool track with lots of runoff, cars were spinning out all day . However, with no walls, a simple agricultural adventure was nothing to fear =). Thus, I REALLY pushed it hard. Thank you Brembo! I still have barely tapped the potential of that kit. By the end of the day, I was hitting 110 on the back straight and braking for the turn in less than 50 feet, with room to spare.

I also got to ride in Rohan's car (600 crank hp I think, running HKS turbos), damn is that thing fast! And it runs SO smooth, and looks just as good. That OS Giken clutch seems like a real pain in the ass to drive tho. I am almost certain that Ro and TTpete placed in the show. Besides having amazingly fast cars, they are both nearly flawless to boot!
EVeryone was very cool, glad to meet all of you, wished some more of you could have made it. Next time!

"Slow in, fast out!"

Any idiot can drive fast; what makes a driver good is the ability to screw up and still save it...
