Message Sorry for the craptastic cell phone pictures. Its not often I have time to work on the car during the week so I was not prepared to photodocument progress today. Modified Stillen SMIC's bolted in place

Dual pop and dual MAF intake installed

McCulloch radiator and fan shroud are in. Still need to do some trimming to the fan shroud so the fan doesn't rub. I was happy to see the oil lines cleared it though.

Canton Racing remote oil filter clamped in place. I can't believe how much effort it took to remove the battery tray. I got a little impatient and used a cold chisel. I've got a few holes that need to be welded up now, but nothing major.

Started the Accusump install as well. Kuah included all of the lines already cut to length and terminated with the proper fittings. The passenger frame rail makes an excellent conduit for the oil line that runs back to the Accusump itself. I was surprised at how far I was able to feed it... all the way back to just below the quarter windows!

Dragged the roll bar over to the garage and set it in place. It was an awkward walk for three blocks and even more so getting it into the car. The person who rents the other half of the garage has been parking exceptionally close over the past few weeks

I put the dash back in now that I replaced the main wiring harness. Not really a difficult task, but certainly makes the car look a little more like a car and less like a pile of metal.

Rear suspension pieces are all installed and adjusted to stock lengths. Once the car is running I need to get a race alignment done. No more Firestone lifetime alignments.

And to quote Bernie, "My precious."

My goals for the project have been altered greatly from the original master plan of being on the track this spring. Now I'm hoping to have the car running and mobile by the end of the summer so I can shake down the major systems. I'll finish up the remaining details over the winter and then start fresh with the early spring track events at the end of April.

"Too dumb for opera, too smart for NASCAR."
