Since I have a new shaft how should I orentate it. He said it doesn't matter. In fact even on a old DS it shouldn't matter. I have always marked mine and replaced it in the same position, flang to flang relationship. Since the DS is balance off the the car ,the orenetaion on the car doesn't matter. THat is unless you had a special on the car balance job done. I assume that a DS might develope a break in that is specific to the car, in which case it might. I also asked this question when I put in a new diff. But that question was left unanswered on all the forumes I quearied.
