| one way, when it is refuted you go into further detail to make it more approvable, you change what "was meant" by what you originally said, and all the while you're trying to equivocating it to something it clearly is not in order to preserve the sales pitch. And still the best thing you can come up with is that it could be basically "like" a tax credit for some people in certain circumstances to incur more debt during unstable economic times (not even considering the economic catastrophe these people are creating thru the rest of their agendas) on a rapidly depreciating expenditure that doesnt have to do anything for the environment or save them any fuel costs in order to qualify?? AND to top it all off, you are going to crush/destroy perfectly good cars, that could just as easily be GIVEN to people who do not have the credit or income to buy ANY new vehicles, regardless of a $4500 handout, and are driving jalopies that actually do spew blue smoke everywhere and couldnt meet an emission test anywhere?? Yeah that is a FANTASTIC program. A few questions: 1)What is the point of this program if not political payoff? 2)How has it accomplished that goal and where are the "safeguards" to ensure it doesnt get misused and misses its claimed goal? 3)Would it be too much to ask lawmakers earned six figures in salary alone, to write competent legislature, not just toss out any junior-varsity crap that seems like it might maybe accomplish a goal, but gets put into effect without being thought out at all, unintended outcomes be damned? 4)Does expecting an answer to question #3 really make me a crazy right-wing loon? rly? I would graciously appreciate it if you or anyone else who is so onboard the Obama-numbnut-mobile, please answer us the first two questions. Questions 3 and 4 are for extra credit. I know liberals love dodging the issue and sidestepping questions, so please do me a favor and leave Bush, waterboarding, Michael Jackson, fairness, class-warfarism, the DH rule in the American League, and any other red herrings out of the discussion, if that isnt too much to ask.
