| white grease to lube all the linkage connections for the various flapper doors on the air box. Also be sure to well clean the air box if there's been some antifreeze leakage in there. Should be some visible traces where it leaked out. Also spray down (with clean water) any closed cell foam insulation on the lower flapper doors which may have some antifreeze inside. This helps to eliminate that odor -- I didnt' do it well enough when I did my core and it took around a year to totally disappear... Also a good idea to add a supplemental body ground strap to the heater core pipes (use the screw on the back of the air box that's used to hold the pipes secure). Ground strap reduces electrolysis action in the core... PS - Also a great time to fix the dash if the defroster vent area is all peeled up there...
