I got really good money for my 91 NA Z, nearly $19K CDN (~$13US), and bought an AWD TSi for $3K CDN, which needed some work. The left over cash all went towards my first home, as I'm getting married in the spring. It really hurt to dump the Z, but it didn't make much sense to keep it. With the Z I needed a winter car as well. That meant 2 cars to maintain, insure, + my g/f's car. With the DSM, I can drive it all year round, and mods are cheap. They'll be time for another Z, just later on, when I got my feet on the ground again. Houses are a major drain.
