Message Possibly the greatest of mankind's follies is the notion of permanency. It is a false ideal we develop because, no matter how much we wish it not to be true, we gauge our experience of the world from our own perspective. Perhaps much of the 'wisdom' attributed to age is simply just a coming to grasps with that notion.

Stepping down from that bit of mental masturbation, car ownership can be many things to many people, but in the end it is about the journey, not the destination.

If this is really and issue for you then I suggest you do the following. Put the car in storage for one year. Buy a Geo Metro for $1000 and drive that instead. Then after one year drive the Z. If at that moment you do not understand why it's worth it, then sell the Z.
