You must use a USDM compressor.. And yes you can install the lines with the motor in. The TT lines have the recharge fittings near the end that goes to the firewall. The NA High pressure hose recharge fitting is near the passenger shock/ strut tower and the low pressure side recharge fitting for the NA is closer to the front passenger also. This should help you distinguish the min AC lines..
Yes get a brand new drier and perform a very good vacuum on the system, after you checked for no leaks and before recharging the system for R134A
