| I have a jack with a similar design & I hate it. I can't slide it under the car very far because the pump arm does not go all the way to the ground when you start pumping. I keep on hitting the body not allowing me to use it when I try to jack up on the center cross member. Using a small 4" ramp to get the front of the car up in the air does not really help either. I suggest you go to a Western Auto type of place and get two inexpensive jacks. One like this to get under the cross member and get the car up to the lowest jack point on your jack stands:
La-Z-Link Then after you get the Z up about 12" then you use the larger jack that can go up a minimum of 18" of lift. If you do any trans work you will need the extra clearance for the bell housing of the transmission to clear the frame.
