Message	I do recall a post from several months back in which the general consensus was that you do not want the pipe/tips touching the valance. At the very least the vibration will scratch the paint, and at the worst it will melt that section of the valance. IIRC the options are to do a bit of modification to the valance (dremel?), or adjust the exhaust hangers. Hope that helps, and good luck.
