| i know what WPC is...i've seen it...its been around for a little while. Its a process I know but that doesn't mean you don't polish the surface of it. All WPC is, is a shot peening of the exterior of the material. You still should polish the journals. If it was a coating then I would understand you'd leave the surface alone. But being that its a process and not a coating which means its already done its job in impeding the surface to strengthen its exterior...just like you'd do to a connecting rod. My statement about being "coated" was meant to say process...most who look at what you've had done will think its a coating unless they educate themselves on what WPC is. Im not trying to start anything with you Mike so you can take it down a notch. All I'm stating is about the polishing procedure. You've already had the WPC done..which is nothing more than a shot peening..but you still should talk to them about polishing. I don't see any issue with polishing the journals since they were micro peened with that process. You still did not answer my question about the cost of you getting those two procedures done. And are you keeping the crank stock form
