Message Do you even know what WPC treatment is? If you polish the journals after treatment that would ruin the WPC treatment. It's not a coating like you just said in your post. It's a permanent treatment (not coating) that reduces friction, strengthens parts, and lowers operating temperatures. You don't polish it. Everything else that was needed to be done to the crank is done first.

Go to their website and read up on it, and/or read Mike Kojima's writeup on it, and/or call WPC and talk to them because you obviously don't know what WPC is.

From their site...

"it is not a coating; it is a permanent surface treatment that reduces friction while strengthening the part. It's unique micro-dimple formation pattern greatly reduces friction and is unmatched by conventional methods of surface treatment."

Thanks,
Mike
