Message	by reading the nomenclature on their site it seems nothing more than a microscopic shot peening of the surface. Which in turn does strengthen the exterior of the item but it also covers up any issues with the crank that it may have. I.E...cracks etc etc. I sorta am on the fence when it comes to things like this because there really is no real proven data that shows that this process is superior over another in the form of a comparison. If there is one I must have missed it or didnt see it anywhere. Let us know how it goes though. Don..i emailed you the other day..i need a reply.
