Message : A friend of mine was thinking about buying my system so I was thinking suspension upgrades. What kind of upgrades should I look for to completely upgrade it? Let's see...KYB shocks/struts, Eibach springs, Courtesy strut braces, Energy Suspension bushings, adjustable tension rods/a-arms and sway bars? Did I miss anything that most people get? I'm a bit curious about the bushings...what kinds are there and where can I get them? Which parts are the bushings actually for? Thanks in advance...

You're basically set with your list.

Are you going with aftermarket tension rods or will you be putting a urethane bushing in the stock tension rod?

There are tons of bushings on the car.. the one that the Energy Suspension master kit includes steering rack, front lower control arm bushings, front & rear sway bar bushings (not needed if you upgrade to aftermarket), rear subframe bushings, and rear differential carrier bushings. here's a shot of a sway bar urethane bushing (note: it's for my Miata). Most of the other suspension bushings are round/circular.

You can see a few shots of a Z with larger aftermarket sways and urethane bushings here.
