After a cruise in the VerTT I stopped in to the local 7/11 to grab some
quick refreshments. I hate parking there - because it is 7/11 after all - so I park as far away
from the crowd as I can get. Anyways, as I came out of the store, I noticed 3 twenty-somethings
gathered around my car. Two of them had their camera phones out
snapping pics of the VerTT. They shied away when they realized that I
must be the owner. I stepped back and said "please - go ahead - I'll
stay out of your way". They snapped a few more pics and we chatted for a few minutes. They
were actually pretty knowledgeable about the car. It seems like there is
a bit of a resurgence in interest in the z32 up here, (and the fd rx7 and
supra) maybe because of the liberal Canadian rules on importing JDM
cars after they are 15 years old. Anyways, it was cool - made my day.
