Message Since I'm a junior EE I like to use Weller irons, no need to ever go above
700F for any basic application. I'm sure that you can find a good low watt
iron from radio shack for your project. To remove solder it is best to use
braid, but be careful. The trick to making a good solder joint is to use flux,
and apply heat with the iron briefly with a touch of solder on the tip before
you solder the component.
