Message	the electrical contact cleaner is what we have always used. I wouldn't want the residue from wd40 or blaster inside my hoses or pipes. It's right next to the brake cleaner at autozone. It doesn't take much to make your idle fluxuate though, so make sure none of it mists towards your intake or you could get a false positive.
