Message I received the LEDs from the Ebay vendor today. Although it took much longer to receive these than it did the ones I post in my write-up, there was also a shipping problem. I was tracking them with a USPS tracking number and they went from NY to MD and then back to NY last week in error by the USPS.

Anyway, the LEDs I received today are exactly the same type I bought from superbrightleds.com for $1.25 each and used for my writeup.

On another subject of LEDs. Travis (rojoloco (San Diego)) and I have been exchanging emails regarding the bulbs used in the warning indicators of both the gauge cluster and the indicators in earlier 90' model Zs where some are located to the bottom left and right of the gauge cluster. The later now being filled with blank panels.

Travis had a bulb out plus I wanted to replace mine with LEDs too so I did some research to find LED replacements for these bulb. Here are a few pictures of the OEM bulb taken from an early model 90' Z. These are wedge push in bulbs that go into a plastic holder that is then twist into the location.

Here are a few pictures of the same bulbs in the back of the gauge clusters used for warning indicators.

I bought a few of these LED bulbs from superbrightleds.com and will see if they work for a replacement for the indicator bulbs. Of course you would only need the white bulbs since the indicator lens is already colored. The price is $1.19 each.
