During my last trip to Cleveland, I noticed quite a few 10% ethanol stickers at the pumps. After doing some research on the web, I found reports that some gas stations are using the ethanol mix without posting any type of notice. Which makes me wonder which stations still have a true 100% petroleum base, and how can you tell? I also read somewhere that some companies are using the ethanol to rasie the octane ratings for some premium grades. Scary stuff, not to mention the potential damage to the injectors. I use Shell all the time, but have read some forums that say they are using a mix as well in certain states. Any ideas on how to be sure no ethanol is in the gas or anyone know of any brand that they know are selling no ethanol mix?
