| There's nothing to be in denial of. I'm not trying to be defensive to you or rude...you know I have nothing at all aginst you...but I will stand up for myself when someone says I did things I did not, or that I did not do things that I did. As far as me checking on my car almost everyday, I did. Do you honestly not remember my almost daily updates I use to do on the progress we were making with my car until several members here got pissed off so I had to stop making them? Checking on it everday, and being a part of the work is the ONLY way to get this done correctly. Hell, I was practically living in the body shop after class everyday. He works for one of my friends dad's body shops (most of my work was done at the shop...not at his house), so I've known him for a while. He never had a problem with me checking on my car everday...luckily. As far as you being wrong, I think we have a misunderstanding. I was asking the guy if his kit was glass. (I am only asking about his rear fender portion flares...cause obviously that part would be bonded to the metal car) Because if you have glass flares on a metal bodied car...bondoing / riveting it on will cause it to crack. Now if you have a glass part going on another glass part...it will not crack because you are not mixing materials, and you can glass it on. Now if you have a metal part going on a metal car it also will not crack as it is just welded on. That's why I asked him. When you said my car is not all metal, I was assuming you meant I did like everyone else, and was mixing glass, and metal on same connected parts...which is a retarded thing to do if you want to drive it. That's why I cleared up your statement and said you were wrong b/c I assumed that's what you were talking about. You weren't though, so I was wrong. My appologise. Not getting defensive...just don't want people to think I had stupid work done on the car so now I can never drive it. On my car all materials on a seperate panel were kept the same. -Metal rear fenders on metal body car. -Metal side skirts on metal body car. -Fiberglass front side skirts on fiberglass front wide fenders -Front fiberglass bumper, widened with fiberglass (kept seperate) -Rear fiberglass bumper widened with fiberglass (kept seperate) This is different than yours, and I beleive everyone elses, and to be honest was a HUGE PITA and is why I would never do this stuff again, but it is also the only way to keep it from having problems if you actually drive your car. I'm trying to help IBZNU by letting him know all of this ahead of time. One last thing...I'm not very pleased to hear how Greg is treationg Shawn and his car, and although it isn't really my place to get involved, the work getting done is a bit rediculous at this point, so I am going to go have some words with Greg today about it (He's always home on Sundays).
