Hey while my tranny is out I decided that I should change the rear trans seal, trans mount, fork dust boot, engine rear main seal and half moon oil pan seal, both fork springs (one got bent). And of course there are all the upgrades that I dont need to list. I will be using redline mt 90 by the way. I dont know if the front trans seal is even leaking (dont think so) but the inside of the bell housing is beyond horrible. There has got to be almost an 8th of an inch of black grime/scum caked up in there. None of it was wet or anything. The trans was pulled from an old z that didnt have gussets or the protective shield plate (i didnt put it on my car this way). So any dust, dirt, oil from rear of engine, or anything like that was free to get up in there. Today I cleaned the bottom half of the inside and way back in the pockets i pulled out like grass and even a washer. So Im wondering if its suggested to change the front input shaft seal (i would like to do it actually) and what else I may need to do it. I know you have to remove the cover plate so is there a gasket that I will also need or just the seal. Thanks guys
