should have the tester - it'll tell if you're head gaskets are going because it will detect CO2 in your coolant. If the car overheated then coolant probably went into overflow tank and then more of it drained out of that tank & you stepped in it. Regardless, the car is getting too hot and you've got an engine prone to overheat. That's the problem you have to address.
