So I was finishing up my stereo install. Get everything together works great EXCEPT the subs. After testing everything: battery voltage, voltage at the amp, output volts of the amp, swapping in known good RCAs, swapped known working speaker plug(I'm using Alpine pdx's they have this weird plug instead of lugs.), finally I ohm the subs which should have been the first thing I did and of course they were shot. Oh well looks like I get new subs along with my new stereo set up. PLEASE GIVE YOUR OPINION ON THIS BELOW AS THIS IS THE REAL REASON I AM POSTING. Thanks :) What is the best 12" 300w rms sub for ChrisZTT version 1 sub boxes? Max mounting depth of 7" and moderately priced but still a quality sub. I'll be shopping around tonight as I want this done asap. I've had my car apart for a month now. I only work maybe 6 hours a weekend on it so it's taken awhile. Here is how far she's come. Going to clay, buff, polish and wax it and give the interior a through cleaning as well as giving the engine bay a good once over. So I still have several weekends ahead of me.
