Message So you could see how a turbo generating a lot more heat is not a positive thing.

You should read the book "Street Turbocharging". It is great for us non-mechanical-engineer noob types, and easily found on Amazon for dirt cheap. You'll be reading compressor maps and have a much better grasp for what is going on with the powerplant that you'll understand the answer to these types of questions yourself and feel much less confusion in general. It helped me understand immensely.
