Message	late 80's. Looked like pretty sweet cars though, I did a report on them when I was in 8th grade. I think the owners/creators name was Gerald Wiegert if I remember correctly. I don't think they ever actually made it into production and less than 20 were ever actually made (two models, W8 and WX3). When it was about to go under it was bought by Lamborghini. They removed the stupid V8TT GM engine and popped in the Diablo power plant and renamed it the M12. That was the last I remember about the report, and I don't remember anything changing since then; so it should still be owned by Lamborghini. But again, I'm going off a report that I did over 10 years for school. :-)
