I'm not sure, I know I torqued everything to spec, and it can really only go on one way. The only thing I can think of is I had the head on and torqued then had to pull it back off to get a lifter that somehow was stuck out, and since it hadn't been used at all I put it back together with the same gasket. I know you're supposed to put a new one on there every time the head comes off, but I didn't think it'd be necessary. I guess I was wrong.
