Message	Think about it, to reach the new standards car companies have to make HUGE, HUGE strides from where things are now. This means they must NOW start spending R&D funds which they are all in short supply of, U.S. and foreign companies. On top of that it is estimated this legislation will add $1,300 to the average car price. Sheesh! Obama, did you not think this through? Yes, we need cleaner air & CAFE is not in and of itself a bad thing. But doncha think the timing is about as bad as it can get? I swear sometimes Obama has the common sense of a gnat.
