Message	on the chassis. The other wire you need to hook to a switched wire. One wire you can use is the wire for the power to the radio. You simply need to find a wire that has 12.4v when the car is on, and 0v when the car is not on, that way the detector will turn off with the car. BTW - I have mine mounted above the rearview mirror and you can't see it from the outside because of the tint strip across the top. Good Luck.
