It requires the gauge faces to be removed and re-installed, which means a re-calibration of the needles. However, you can tell if it can be done by disassembling your gauge face and looking at the back of the gauge faces by gently pulling them upwards. If I recall correctly, the one's that can be sanded off are a flat blue color, almost like a thin layer of blue paint, and the ones that cannot be sanded have a honeycomb or grid layered on top of the blue film. -Adam
