Message I figured I would post this for any of you convertible guys who may be needing a new top. I decided to go the Ebay route based on the feed back of the Ebay product.

I put this top on myself with the help of my father. I took about 8 hours with just the service manual as guidance. As far as the product, it was fine, fitment was excellent, no complaints at all. It was not identical to the top that was on, which may or may not have been original, biggest difference being the style of the seam at the rear pillar.

Everything was going fine when I dropped one drop of glue (3M high strength trim adhesive) right on the new plastic window, Doh! Of course then I did the worst thing possible and tried to wipe it off real fast.

Anyway looking at 3Ms adhesive remover on line I noticed it to be "citrus based" so I decided to try some Simple green on it and it worked like magic, window is clear.. for now.

Anyway, on to the pictures hopefully...

Some of the top, and to make it interesting, some in front of the "new" Ocean House in Watch Hill Rhode Island.

This is a turn of the century hotel that was bought to be restored. Once they looked at it, it was to far gone. So they are building a historically correct reproduction of the water front hotel (Thats the Atlantic Ocean in the back ground for any west coast people (Dave N)) haha. If you are near by looking for a nice ride Watch Hill is one of the most beautiful spots on the east coast.
