Message I like to think there already is this happy middle-crowd of people that just own a car, enjoy their car and modify/take care of their car without too many cares. Far more people read this site than post on it so we have to believe that to be true. Odds are, many of them check in from time to time but don't browse every day so when "that same old issue XXX" comes up repeatedly, some of us here have no qualms about reciting the same old song and dance. I, personally, have cut way down on this the last few years but sometimes something so crazy happens that everyone chimes in.

The CZP wave was huge and we're still trying to dig out from it as more information comes to light. All the while, the people burned out on Z1/AMS talk already know how to vote with their wallets, already know things are not always what they seem and are probably tired of anything that isn't a pic post or birthday thread.

I get that. =)

That being said, I think a lot of the mob mentality you see and feel nowadays is baggage from the struggles over the last few years with vendors. The core of this site does hold them to a much higher standard and the fangs are quick to come out...namely because those people actually do know what has gone on. It's hard to holster those thoughts when you're 100% certain and sometimes it's hard for those people to remember that the rest of us are not certain of anything at all.

I think if you add that inconsistency of information to the actual layout of the forum you have what really does appear to be a mob mentality and waves of drama. Imagine if this place was UBB and a simple response had one location without a hierarchy of a dozen replies housed beneath it, magnifying the situation. I bet it'd be an entirely different feel! But I digress...I still love this site the way it is, despite any faults and occasional palm to the face =)

WARNING: 300degree Fuel Rail Buyers - Cheap knockoff kits were being sold by CZP as 300Degree parts. Click for safety concerns/info.
Avoid AMS Products - Killing Z32 product innovation, one quickly copied, questionable Chinese part at a time.
Avoid Z1 Motorsports - Hacked TT.net deleting years of proof about service nightmares, employee misconduct and lies about parts. Use trusted vendors instead!
