record. There is an in-between. Plus there's that mob-mentality that always accompanies this sort of thing. I like to think that I am not alone in being the type of person who rejects it. People like me want information, not insinuation, not empty references. To the people who are here all the time and have personal relationships with involved parties, this seems like they have to repeat themselves over and over again to people like me, and they do, because that is the nature of the internet it is an optional place to visit and it is visited for a variety of reasons aside from following aftermarket supplier politics. People like me come and go at varying times here and this is just an intermitttent blink of the eye in an otherwise busy world. I personally do not feel it is my place to be Paul Revere, because I do not know. I do not know that AMS copied vendor A,B,C,D, and E. I do not know CZP directly copies parts. I do not know what goes on in any of these types of situations and the reality is that despite all the appearances and circumstantial "evidence" almost no one but the people directly working for said con-artists actually do know. Now I can see just as well as you and anyone what looks like a duck, quacks like a duck, and walks like a duck is more often than not a duck. But I know that appearances can be deceiving and life teaches all of us that things are not always what they seem. So before I go condemning someone publicly, I'd rather go with what I do know. I do know who originally designed certain downpipes I do know who originally designed a certain pulley I do know who originally designed a certain manifold....and the list goes on. Based on what I do know, I vote with my wallet, and if others don't know who the innovator was, then I tell them. Most people understand the importance of supporting innovation and for those who don't, many here do a good job of explaining it to them (in no uncertain terms, lol). This CZP thing is very cut and dry, there is no grey area in it like with the other past misdeeds. What's done is done, and I prefer to leave it to 300Degree & CZP to sort out. My personal philosophy is that Coz went down a road he should not have, and I am not referring to anything other than the HPFR. Again this is because aside from the HPFR, I do not have the facts. While I think the proper course of action for me as a Z owner who likes to think he cares, is that items I can get elsewhere I will get elsewhere, there are still items that CZP stocks that are not available elsewhere (well maybe Z1 but I don't peruse their inventory). But If faced with getting a part from CZP or Z1, I will choose based on MY experiences with the two vendors. Where else am I supposed to get a reseal kit for my rear calipers? Am I going to go without it? Not an option. I will continue to buy from the rest of the vendors that have not royally dicked up their reputation, but I will not be scorned for buying from CZP for something that is not available elsewhere. That's the end of my rambling post that doesnt change anything and doesnt change anyone's mind. If you haven't noticed, I don't have a lot to do today as I am waiting on a 2nd set of hands for my 1st engine pull, and I don't watch television so the internet is my time killer at the moment.
