Subject	baffles? I may be baffled myself

Message	When you say bafles what do you mean? I would think of a mounting plate that help seal the front wave of the speaker away from the rear wave and gives you something to mount the speaker on. But if you're thinking that the baffle may be restricting airflow then I'm not sure we're on the same page. What I usaully do is cut a piece of 1/8 or 1/4 inch masonite to the shape to cover the factor y speaker box hole then mount the new speaker in that. This is somwthing I've done in numerous cars and haven't had any problems with it. You could spend the time to build an enclosure for the new speaker to make it sound better but you'd need to know the recommended internal airspace for your new speaks. PLUS the enclosure would be a bitch to build. Which of the above are you needing assistance with??? thanks
