| I had more heim joints and pillowballs on the Z32 than I could count, but I always hated the ride quality. In my old age (30+ now), I have elected to go with stiffer rubber (higher durometer) or poly bushings instead of solid delrin/aluminum and/or heim joints wherever possible on the suspension of my car. We are spoiled in CA (no salt on the roads), but a pillowball is too susceptible to foreign material intrusion, causing seizing issues, creaking, etc. I am not convinced that any daily driven street car needs pillow ball/heim joints anywhere on the suspension. That said, those are quality pieces you have there, just be sure to maintain them.
