You're absolutely right that it'd be ultimately pointless to manufacture a crank that is simply stronger than OEM. However, if an aftermarket stroker crank were available for a decent price (below the ~$3k Crower one that aliaZ posted), I think more people would be interested. I don't have four-digit-horsepower aspirations, but I will be spending the next year or so building an engine from the ground up to drop into my next Z... if a stroker were available, I'd definitely be interested.
