Message	You can. I just had the roll bar done and the carpet was in so they "rolled it forward" out of the way of the welding as much as possible. I wasn't about to take the dash back out to remove the carpet for him like he wanted. It will be a pain with the carpet backing jute(?) pad stuck to the original sound proofing and fighting the carpet but you can do it.
