just received an offer for a broker position w. one of the leading wall street firms =) however, because it's a 2 year training program, the pay is substantially lower than what i received at jpmorgan. however the opportunity to receive a few different licenses, go on various rotational programs in LA/Chicago, and the extensive training i'll be receiving seems enticing. however, i'm missing the benjamins. what to do? i should just hold out and go technology =P in any case, i'm glad to have received the offer. process was pretty intensive. started with phone screen interview. then had to take a series of tests: personality, logic, business math. then followed a dinner test. finally, the 4 round interviews with 2 senior VP's and 2 directors of the firm. i was exhausted at the end and wasn't sure if i made it. i'm grateful but where the heck did all the benjamins go???
