Message well we first have to know why this engine was built in the first place. Was it a blown TT engine that under went a new rebuild, or was the engine running just fine and he wanted to build up a new power plant?

If the engine was a blown TT...was the crank magnaflux'd at all? Was anything done to check out the condition of the crankshaft to check for cracks at all?

Was there an unforseen issue with the drivetrain that put an excess amount of pressure on the crankshaft that ended its career in this engine?

Theres a lot of finding out for sure. But the speculation in which "it made 1000whp...thats the max it will hold"...that statement is quite vague and literally bold statement to say without knowing the condition in how this incident unfolded.
