| I work in the (EVIL) oil fields in west Texas And there are hundreds of thousands of other (very) hardworking oil workers in this country that will gladly drill for the billions of barrels we have sitting off our shores and underground. Environmental impact is non existent offshore or on land. But I'm evil. I am an oil worker. My point is that we dont have to send money overseas to "build dubai", we can pay our domestic oil producers and send the money to ourselves. We have enough oil to last another 200 years in our posession yet we cant drill for it because of these lunatics that tell us we need to grow corn for our fuel, that WOULD rather send the money to dubai than send it to ourselves.
By your logic we "pay Americans to grow things" and waste huge amounts of corn for very very minimal returns, rather than pay Americans to drill their own oil.
Ethanol is a complete SCAM. Corn growers for ethanol get huge cash infusions and subsidies from this liberal congress bending over for the whole global warming SCAM.
