Message So I get a letter from my ins co today saying they are dumping the Z because, and I quote, "Auto equipment is undesirable. The 1991 Nissan has been modified and is being used as a racecar." Evidently this was prompted by my call for a tow as covered under the policy when my car broke the other day. I got towed from the parking lot of a local track to my house, at my expense, I might add. I talk to the ins co the following day and cust svc says the tow should have been covered, and requested a copy of the bill. Then a couple weeks go by and I get this letter. They claim that because I was in the 'pit area', my car is a race car and they will no longer cover it. They also stipulated that if a car is modified in any way to improve performance, then the car is used for competition and is not covered any more. They don't care that the pit area and the spectator parking are one and the same.

I've got 5 not-so-cheap vehicles with full coverage with these assholes, and with far more than minimal coverage. Hell, policy even states that it covers $1000 in custom modifications. So I'm forced to bail on shitty GEICO with all of my business, if this is how they are. Got any recommendations?
